Jarmyn Enterprise Space

Roger Pereira

Propulsion Engineer

I’ve had a proclivity for creating and experimenting from my childhood days, or so my Mechanix models say.

After my tryst with Mechanical Engineering in my hometown of Mangalore, India, I set out on my space journey to the land of the Sámi people, a hidden gem in the far north of Scandinavia, a place where -30°C is the norm – Kiruna. I pursued my Master’s in Space Science and Technology (SpaceMaster) at the Luleå University of Technology, Sweden and Czech Technical University, Czech Republic. During the programme, I had the brilliant opportunity of interning as a Thermal Engineer at ThrustMe, France; it is here that my passion for Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and Propulsion grew leaps and bounds!

Today, it’s an honour and privilege for me to be associated with J.E.S. To be able to use the words “Space”, “Thermal”, “Rocket”, and “Engineering” in the same sentence is something I deeply treasure.

In my pursuit of exploring the unknown, Space has got me started, and Curiosity keeps me going!

When not immersed in engineering, one can find me dancing, playing badminton or football, exploring anime, reading, or indulging in Sudoku.
