Artemis I Rolls to Launch Pad

NASA’s Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft rolled out to Launch Complex 39B at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida for the very first time on Thursday, March 17. At about 5:45 p.m. EDT on Thursday, the crawler-transporter began the approximately 4-mile journey from the Vehicle Assembly Building. At 4:15 a.m EDT Friday, it arrived at the launch pad, where it will undergo testing before launch in several weeks.
